"The gentleman's person, like the Confucians and Mohists, are teachers, thus they harmonize disputes with right and wrong, and how much more so with people today?" — Zhuangzi (Zhuangzi), "Knowing the North Wanderer"
Guo Xiang's commentary: 䪡 means harmony. The teachers of Confucians and Mohists, those who are difficult to harmonize in the world, even the unfeeling can harmonize them, how much more so the ordinary?
Also: "It makes people disdain the elderly, and harmonize their worries." — Guo Xiang's commentary: Harmonizing worries means that by using beautiful forms to animate creatures, their worries and confusion will arise.
