Yu Pian: Ai-dai, the appearance of clouds.
Zhengzitong: Ai-dai, spectacles.
Dongtian Qinglu: Ai-dai, when the elderly cannot distinguish fine print, covering the eyes with these makes them clear. Novels from the Yuan dynasty say that ai-dai originated in the Western Regions. It is wrongly written as yun-da, which is incorrect.
Fangyu Shenglue: The country of Malacca produces ai-dai.
