Also, Book of Odes (Shijing), Greater Odes (Daya) states: Do not be overstepping and do not be thieving. The Commentary explains this as do not be cruel and harmful.
Also, Zuo Tradition (Zuo Zhuan), Ninth Year of Duke Xi, mentions: Do not be overstepping and do not be thieving. The Note (Zhu) explains that thief means to harm.
