In Er Ya (Erya), Explanation of Water (Shishui): A small islet is called zhu (陼); a small zhu (陼) is called zhi. From Yue Yu (Yueyu): Frogs and turtles share the same islet. In Chu Ci (Chuci), Nine Chapters (Jiuzhang): Setting off from Wangzhu in the morning, lodging in Chenyang in the evening. From Sima Xiangru's Zixu Fu (Zixufu): And to the east of Qi there is a great ocean zhu (陼). Commentary: To the east is the zhu (陼) of the great ocean. From Yang Xiong's Fan Li Sao (Fanlisao): Phoenixes soar above Pengzhu. Commentary: Penglai's zhu (陼), in the sea. Also, a hill name.
