Zuo Zhuan (Zuo Commentary), 13th Year of Duke Wen: Therefore, when he departed, Rao Chao presented him with a horse whip. Du Yu Commentary: This refers to the zhua used for driving horses. On the left side it is written as a variant form (zhuan), and it is also written in another variant form. Also, in Jiyun (Collected Rhymes), pronounced zhua. The meaning is the same. Textual Research: Zuo Zhuan (Zuo Commentary), 11th Year of Duke Wen, states that Shi Hui went to the State of Jin and Rao Chao presented him with a horse whip. In accordance with the original text, the 11th year has been corrected to the 13th year, and the four characters stating Shi Hui went to Jin have been replaced with the two characters stating he departed.
