Zi Collection, Middle Volume, Page 101, Entry 07 Pronounced zhu (falling tone), same as zhu (falling tone). Name of a type of grass. According to the "Bo Ya" (Boya), "yang hu" is "zong guang". Furthermore, the "Zheng Zi Tong" (Zhengzitong) states it is a poisonous herb, also known by names such as "huang du juan" (yellow cuckoo), "lao hu hua" (tiger flower), and "nao yang hua" (troubling sheep flower), which differs from the explanation in the "Bo Ya". There is a line in the "Poems of Han Yu" (Hanyu shi) that reads "hu cheng shan kai bu suan". In the "Ji Yun" (Jiyun), this character is sometimes abbreviated as "zhao". The character was originally written with the "cao" radical above "zhi".
