"Zhengtong" commentary: The 䱂 fish belongs to the carp family and lives in streams and mountain gorges. It resembles the sha fish but is shorter, with a wide mouth, large head, and forked tail. Its color is yellow-black with markings, and the spines on its dorsal fin are venomous. According to "Yujing," some 鰂 fish that attach themselves to mud are called Jing fish, also known as Tu fish. "Shiwu Bencao" calls it Du Fu fish. "Linhai Zhi" records that Tu fish is Du Fu fish, also called Huang yu, commonly known as Chuan Ding fish. When it sees people, it inserts its mouth into the mud, resembling a ship's anchor (ding).
