In the Jade Chapter (Yupian), it is noted that the term refers to a house about to collapse. In the Collected Rhymes (Jiyun), a collapsed house is called ya. Also, it denotes a narrow passage. Another source in the Collected Rhymes states it also refers to a pigsty.
