Kangxi Dictionary

Pronounced yi zhou (entering tone) in Guangyun, and yi zhou (entering tone) in Jiyun, with the same pronunciation as "you." Explained as a pottery vessel in Shuowen Jiezi. Yangzi's Fangyan records: Weng, in the Huai River and Ru River region, is called 䍃. Guangya explains it as a bottle. Also pronounced yu zhao (entering tone) in Jiyun and Yunhui, with the same pronunciation as "yao." The meaning is the same.
