This character is composed of the components for water, sky, and well. "㴁" means full, referring to the water in a well that is perpetually full and never dries up. This actually refers to the saliva in a person's mouth, called "well water." Therefore, a person can survive as long as there is saliva in their mouth, and will die within seven days if there is no saliva. If a person can frequently swallow their own saliva, it will purify their inner self and fill their abdomen, which is the foundation for longevity.
