Pronounced yǔn. According to the Explaining Graphs and Analyzing Characters (Shuowen Jiezi), this refers to a weapon carried by an attendant official. It cites the Book of Zhou (Zhoushu), stating: One person wearing a ceremonial cap carrying a 鈗. Note that in the current version of the text, the Gu Ming chapter uses the character for sharp. Kong Yingda notes that the character for sharp should be 鈗, pronounced yǔn. According to Kong, the character for sharp is a corruption of the character 鈗. Currently, Cai Shen's commentary cites the Explaining Graphs and Analyzing Characters, unaware that the Explaining Graphs and Analyzing Characters text originates from Kong's commentary.
Also, pronounced ruì.
Also, pronounced duì. The meaning is the same.
