Pronounced wān (rising tone) in the "Guangyun" (Guangyun), pronounced xuān (rising tone) in the "Yunhui" (Yunhui), and pronounced yuán (rising tone) in the "Zhengyun" (Zhengyun). The pronunciation is the same as "yuān" (yuān). The "Guangyun" explains it as bone pain. The "Jiyun" (Jiyun) explains it as aching bones. The "Neijing" (Neijing) mentions "wěi jué xuán yìn". [Note] Pain in the ankle and lower leg is called xuán yìn. Furthermore, the "Zhengzitong" (Zhengzitong) explains it as vexation and depression. "Liezi: Yang Zhu" (Liezi: Yang Zhu) records that even when enjoying fine meat and fragrant citrus, the heart remains vexed and the body unwell.
