Also recorded in the "Zihui Bu" (字汇补): Various venomous snakes spit their venom onto plants. If a person accidentally touches it, this venom is called yóu dú (䖻毒). Also, in the "Jiyun" (集韵), it is pronounced by the method of yí zhōu (夷周) cut. It is interchangeable with the character "yóu" (蝣). Fú yóu (蜉蝣), is written as fú yóu (蜉䖻) in the "Fangyan" (方言).
