Zi Collection, Upper Volume, Page 22, Entry 06 Radical: Mouth (kǒu) Pronounced yīn 《Tang Yun》 uses the fanqie "yu" (於) and "zhen" (眞) for pronunciation, and 《Ji Yun》 uses the fanqie "yi" (伊) and "zhen" (眞). Pronounced yīn (level tone). 《Shuowen Jiezi》 explains it as "near, tend towards." Another explanation is "to follow, to abide by." 《Ji Yun》 states that this character is the same as the character "yīn" (因).
