Pronounced yào (falling tone). In "Jiyun" (Jiyun), the pronunciation is indicated as yi qie (弋笑切), with the same pronunciation as "yao". "Shuowen Jiezi" (Shuowen Jiezi) explains it as an improper walking posture. Another explanation refers to swollen feet. Also, in "Yupian" (Yupian), the pronunciation is indicated as yu zhao qie (余招切), with the same pronunciation as "yao". The meaning is the same.
