Explained in Yupian as the appearance of being green and vibrant. Also pronounced yu liang (falling tone) in Guangyun, Jiyun, and Zhengyun, with the same pronunciation as "yang." The meaning is the same. It also refers to blue-black blood. One explanation is a pale blue complexion.
