Cai Tao, in "Iron Enclosure Mountain Chats (Tiewei Shan Cong Tan)", states: Parrots, initially with red beaks, then black, then red again. Initially named Mu Hou. Another type is named Wu Feng. Fan Chengda, in "Records of the Ministry of Works (Yuhang Zhi)", says: It comes from Guihai, is a dark blue-green color, has a crown on its head, and two thin bones hanging from its tail, about a foot and several inches long, with feathers only at the tip. Its shape is slightly like a phoenix, its voice is clear and melodious like a sheng or xiao, it can sing short tunes in harmony with musical modes, and can imitate the sounds of a hundred birds. Also a flower name. The Erythrina flower, known in Yunnan as the parrot flower, resembles it in shape. "Peng Gang's Poems": The wind blows green leaves,翠翩翩, revealing several branches of red parrots. Also, "Guangyun", "Collection of Rhymes (Jiyun)", "Rhyme Meeting (Yunhui)": mo hou qie. "Zhengyun": mo hou qie, pronounced mu. Also written as wu. Xiong Dagou considers the large ones to be parrot mothers and the small ones to be parrots. Dai Tong considers the white ones to be parrot mothers and the small ones to be parrots.
