In the dictionary Shiming (Explanation of Names), it is defined as a net, meaning the rim that captures and encircles the exterior of the wheel.
In the Book of the Later Han (Hou Hanshu), in the Treatise on Carriages and Vestments, it is written: The hunting carriage of the Son of Heaven has heavy rims draped in silk cords, with coiled dragons winding around them.
