The commentary notes that it refers to twisting ropes. According to the Book of Odes (Shijing), specifically the section Bin Feng: Working at night to twist ropes, in preparation for their use. Also, according to the Yunbu (Yunbu), it is used with the sound hou. In the Hehuan Poems (Hehuan shi) by Yang Fang: Clothing is made with double silk thread, sleeping together with seamless ropes.
