Broad Rhymes (Guangyun) defines it as fire for embers. Collected Rhymes (Jiyun) states that hot ash is called embers. Additionally, according to Zhengzitong, the Embers Pool is located in the northeast of the Liao region. There is a beacon tower of Emperor Taizong of Tang. Within five miles there is a fire cave named Embers Pool. At night, it glows as bright as day.
