Zi Collection, Upper Volume, Page 115, Entry 07 Radical: Heart (xīn) Pronounced xù (falling tone) Meaning: Deep. The character's form uses "heart" as the semantic component and "㒸" as the phonetic component. Also found in "Guangyun" and "Jiyun," with the pronunciation "suì suì qiē" (falling tone), same pronunciation as "cuì." The meaning is the same. Note: The first character of the fanqie in "Shuowen Jiezi" belongs to the Xie (邪) initial. In dictionaries after "Yupian," the first character of the fanqie belongs to the Xin (心) initial. However, based on the relationship of phonetic borrowing, it is ultimately more closely related to the Xie (邪) initial.
