From "Ji Yun" (Ji Yun), "Yun Hui" (Yun Hui), "Zheng Yun" (Zheng Yun): Su gu cut, pronounced sù. "Shuowen" (Shuowen): To flow against the current and upwards is called 㴑 (húi). 㴑 (húi) means to go against. Water naturally flows downwards, but this is to go against it and upwards. Also written as 遡 (sù) and 溯 (sù). Also written as 泝 (sù).
