Qieyun (Qieyun) uses the pronunciation of Chi Yin qie, and Jiyun (Jiyun) uses the pronunciation of Er Zhen qie, pronounced "ren." Shuowen Jiezi (Shuowen Jiezi) explains it as "䏰." Jiyun (Jiyun) records that "䏰" is the name of a county. The Book of the Later Han Dynasty, Biography of Liu Yan (Hou Hanshu, Liú Yān Zhuàn), states: "We therefore stationed troops in 䏰 to defend against Liu Biao." The commentary explains that it belonged to Shu Commandery, and its old city site was west of Yun'an County, Kuizhou, in present-day. Additionally, Guangyun (Guangyun) annotates the pronunciation as Ru Shun qie, and Jiyun (Jiyun) annotates it as Ru Shun qie, pronounced "run." It is the name of a county in the Han Dynasty. The Book of the Later Han Dynasty, Biography of Wu Han (Hou Hanshu, Wú Hàn Zhuàn), mentions: "Yang Wei from Dangqu, Xu Rong from 䏰, and others." The commentary quotes the Thirteen Provinces Gazetteer (Shisanzhou Zhi) as saying that the pronunciation is "chun," and 䏰 is pronounced "run." The area is low-lying and damp, with many 䏰 insects, hence the county was named after it.
