It is also found in the "Book of Later Han" (Hou Hanshu), in the biography of Ying Shao (Ying Shao), which records "缇䌌十重" (tí jié shí chóng). The commentary explains that "缇䌌" (tí jié) refers to brightly colored clothing. In "Nine Laments" (Jiu Huai) from "Songs of Chu" (Chu Ci), there is the line "袭英衣兮缇䌌" (xí yīng yī xī tí jié).
