The "Family Instructions of the Yan Clan" (Yanshi Jiaxun) records that more than a hundred li east of Jinyang there was a city called Kangchou. It was unknown what place it originally was, until the "Zilin" (Zilin) and "Yunji" (Yunji) were consulted, and it was learned that Kangchou was originally the Ting of Changchou, belonging to Shang'ai.
