Gathering of Rhymes (Jiyun), Rhyme Meetings (Yunhui), and Correct Rhymes (Zhengyun) state it is pronounced po.
Jade Chapters (Yupian) defines this as water leaking out. Another interpretation is to pour out water.
In the Small Records of Popular Terms (Suhu Xiaolu) by Li Yi, a shower of rain is referred to as one po.
In the Chicken Forest Matters (Jilin Leishi) by Sun Mu, the Goryeo dialect refers to the foot as po.
In the Rhyme Supplements (Yunbu), it is also noted as pronounced po (falling tone).
In a poem by Su Shi: Rain pauses where I read, the chaotic emerald color of the morning is as if splashed. Accumulating autumn rain, year after year damaging the fence.
