Pengbo refers to the sound of rushing water. According to the River Rhapsody (Jiangfu) by Guo Pu, it describes the sound of water gushing out of a cave as a crashing noise. Also, Pengkou is a place name located in Pengchuan. In the poetry of Du Fu, the river water at Pengkou is likened to white silk. Additionally, it is interchangeable with the character peng.
