"Tang Yun" (Tang Yun) reads fu xiao qie, same sound as "piao." "Shuowen Jiezi" (Shuowen Jiezi) explains it as the appearance of an open pocket. The character form is derived from "㯻" with the omission of strokes, using "匋" as the phonetic component. In "Shiguwen" (Shiguwen), it is written: "What fish are those fish? They are silver carp and common carp. What are they stored in? In vessels woven from poplar and willow branches." Also, "Tang Yun" (Tang Yun) reads pu pao qie, same sound as "pao." Also, "Wuyin Jiyun" (Wuyin Jiyun) reads po dao qie, pronunciation (missing character). The meaning is the same. ○ Note: "Shuowen Jiezi" (Shuowen Jiezi) originally had a separate section for "㯻," which is now merged into other radicals.
