Guangyun: Pronounced mu (rising tone). Jiyun: Pronounced mu (rising tone). Both sources indicate the same pronunciation as mu. Cimu is the name of a mountain located in Danyang, known in the present day as Taiping Prefecture. According to the Gazetteer (Dizhi): This mountain produces bamboo suitable for crafting xiao (vertical bamboo flute) pipes. It is also known as Guchui Mountain. Zhengzitong: Originally written as mu. The common variant is written as 峔.
