"Tang Yun" gives the pronunciation as mo and li, "Ji Yun" gives the pronunciation as mu and li, pronounced mi. "Shuowen Jiezi" states that this means to be asleep but not yet satisfied. "Ji Yun" says it means to be deeply asleep, and is sometimes also written in a variant form.
