According to the "Zhengzitong" (正字通), the character "liao" (尞) was originally written as "". The character "jian" (㶫) is an erroneous form of "". Examining the dictionaries "Shuowen Jiezi" (说文解字), "Yupian" (玉篇), "Guangyun" (广韵), "Jiyun" (集韵), "Leipian" (类篇), "Pianhai" (篇海), and "Haipian" (海篇), none of them contain the character "jian" (㶫) or "". Only the "Zihui Bu" (字汇补) mentions that the character "" is found in "Liushu Suoyin" (六书索隐). However, this is not sufficient as conclusive evidence. Since the "Zhengzitong" considers "jian" (㶫) to be an erroneous form of "", it is difficult to understand why the current section should include "" but not "". It is likely that both "" and "jian" (㶫) are erroneous forms and should be deleted.
