"Tang Yun" uses the fanqie of Lu Hao, pronounced the same as "lao". "Shuowen Jiezi" explains it as a dried plum-like food. "Zhou Li - Tianguan - Bianren" records that the bamboo vessels called bian, used to offer food during sacrifices, contained dates, chestnuts, peaches, dried meat, dried plums, and hazelnuts. Furthermore, according to "Han Zhi Kao", the King of Changsha during the Later Han Dynasty was the first to boil grasses to make 䕩. Also, "Ji Yun" uses the fanqie of Lang Dao, pronounced the same as "lao". The meaning is the same.
