Pronounced zi (entering tone) in Guangyun.
Pronounced ji (entering tone) in Jiyun and Yunhui. Describes the appearance of spring water gushing out. One explanation refers to water spurting. Also refers to 湁潗, describing water flowing with slight eddies and smooth, continuous movement. Example: "Turbulent and boiling" in "Shanglin Fu" by Sima Xiangru. Also refers to the sound of boiling water. Example: "濘潗" in "Hai Fu" by Mu Hua.
