Tang Rhyme (Tangyun) and Collected Rhymes (Jiyun) state it is pronounced jin. In weaving, one must first organize the warp threads, using the jin to comb the silk threads so they do not become tangled. From the Expanded Dictionary (Picang).
Collected Rhymes (Jiyun) also states it is pronounced jin (rising tone).
