Tang Rhyme: jū zhèng qiè. Jiyun, Yunhui: jiān zhèng qiè. Zhengyun: jū qìng qiè, with jìng in the falling tone. Shuowen: Strong. From the Strength (lì) radical, jīng sound component. Guangyun: Healthy, vigorous. Zengyun: Firm, vigorous. From Zuo Commentary (Zuǒzhuàn), Duke Xuan, 12th year: "The middle wields power, the rear is strong." Also, Zhengyun: sometimes also written as shàn. From Book of Rites (Lǐjì), Qu li: "swiftly restrain his anger."
