Pronounced xǔ yù (falling tone) in the "Guangyun" dictionary, meaning "jué." Originally written as "chù," it is sometimes also written as "hùn" or "yì." The "Boyǎ" dictionary explains it as: meaning "madness." The "Chunqiu (Spring and Autumn Annals)" records: In the spring of the first month, on the *jiǎxū* day and the *yǐchǒu* day, Marquis Bào passed away. The "Gongyang Commentary" asks: Why are two dates recorded for his death? It is because he was in a state of "hùn" when he died. The "Zhù" commentary explains: "hùn" means madness. Additionally, in the "Jiyun" dictionary, it is pronounced xián liè (falling tone), meaning "jué." The "Boyǎ" dictionary explains it as: meaning "anger." Another interpretation is: the appearance of foolishness.
