Same pronunciation as "jù". *Guangyun* phonetic notation is "ju yu qie". *Jiyun* and *Yunhui* phonetic notation is "ju yu qie". *Shuowen Jiezi* explains it as: a leather strap on a straight-axle cart that secures the shafts. Also explained in *Yunhui* as: an earth cart. Also used interchangeably with "jù". The term "bĕn jù" appears in *Zuo Zhuan*, Duke Xiang's 8th Year. The meaning is the same as "jù".
