In the Biography of Wu Bei from the History of the Former Han (Qianhan Shu), it is written: The madman cried out on the eastern cliff.
Also, Jiaoyang is the name of a beast.
According to the Huainanzi (Huainanzi), mountains produce the Jiaoyang.
In the Hunting Rhapsody (Jiaolie Fu) by Yang Xiong, it is mentioned as Jiaoyang.
Also, according to the Collected Rhymes (Jiyun), it is pronounced jiao, and is the same as the character for shout. See the previous note on the character for shout.
