Zi Collection, Upper Volume, Page 16, Entry 02 Pronounced hàn (falling tone) according to Guangyun and Jiyun. Explained as "to stop" in Shuowen Jiezi. Recorded in the Book of Zhou (Zhoushu) as: 㪋我于艰. Note: In the extant "Wen Hou Zhi Ming" (Wen Hou Zhi Ming) from the Book of Documents (Shangshu), the character 㪋 is written as 扞 in current editions. According to Leipian (Leipian), this character may also be written as 攼. Furthermore, according to Jiyun, it is pronounced xǔ wǒ (entering tone), and is the same as the character 㪃.
