Zi Collection, Upper Volume Radical: Fish (yú) Page 1245, Entry 05 The *yú* fish, recorded in the "Book of Herbs" (Bencao), is also called *hú yí*. When touched with something, it inflates its belly like a balloon. It is also called *chēn yú*. Its back is white with red stripes, resembling a seal. Unlike other fish, its eyes can close, and it is the pufferfish of today. Note: Pronounced guī.
