Zi Collection, Page Position: Upper, Radical: Dry (gān), Page 15, Entry 09
Pronounced gān. In the "Pei Ji" (佩集), this character is used as the "gan" (干) in "gan lu" (干禄). "Guangyun" (广韵) provides the pronunciation as gu han (古寒), and "Jiyun" (集韵) provides it as ju han (居寒). "Yupian" (玉篇) explains it as a basin. "Guangyun" (广韵) explains it as the name of a large bowl. "Zhengzitong" (正字通) states it is an erroneous variant of the character "yu" (盂), which is an incorrect textual analysis.
