Zi Collection, Upper Volume, Page 13, Entry 05 Radical: Square (fāng) Pronounced fú From "Jiyun" (Jiyun), the sound is fú. From "Yupian" (Yupian), describes the manner of walking. From "Leipian" (Leipian), refers to bending one's limbs and prostrating oneself on the ground. Also, in Zuo Si's "Odu Fu" (Wudu Fu), it is written: "Souls are snatched away, spirits are terrified, and they prostrate themselves, falling to the ground, drinking arrows as they are struck." The commentary explains: "Fu," means to collapse. Also, from "Jiyun" (Jiyun), the sound is bì mò qiè. It is the same as the character "fú".
