Pronounced fangwu (falling tone) in Guangyun, and feifu (falling tone) in Jiyun, pronounced the same as "fu" (falling tone). Shuowen Jiezi explains it as processing worn-out silk wadding. Leipian records that some versions also write it as "䌗". Also pronounced jiujiu (falling tone) in Jiyun, pronounced the same as "fu" (falling tone). Also pronounced pi (falling tone), pronounced the same as "pu" (falling tone). The meanings are the same.
