Commentary: A pig has teeth, and by various means it cannot be subdued and changed. Only by castrating its reproductive organs can its nature naturally become gentle and obedient, and even with its teeth, it cannot cause harm. — "Cheng Zhuan."
Note: Originally written as 豶 in "Shuowen Jiezi," it should be classified under the 13-stroke section. "Zihui" simplified it to 豶 and also separately wrote it as 獖, which is incorrect. The character 豶 is derived from 豭.
