Annotation: Lu Ji says: It grows in marshy fields and damp places. Its leaves resemble those of *xie hao* but are finer. It grows in March. The middle stem can be eaten raw, or steamed, and is fragrant and delicious, with a taste quite similar to *lou hao*. "Tall is the artemisia, not artemisia but mugwort." — Odes (Shijing) Annotation: The artemisia is the *fan* of antiquity. When it first sprouts, it is called *e*; when it grows large, it is called *hao*.
