"Boat's large side timbers" — Guangyun (Guangyun) and Jiyun (Jiyun) say the pronunciation is tu nong qie, sounding the same as "dong" (dong). Yùpiān (Yùpiān) explains it as large timbers on the sides of a boat. Guangyun (Guangyun) says it is a place for tying boat ropes. Yùnhuì (Yùnhuì) says it is a short wooden post for tying a boat.
Also, Jiyun (Jiyun) and Yùnhuì (Yùnhuì) say the pronunciation is tu hong qie, sounding the same as "tong" (tong). The meaning is the same.
