Pronounced ding-guo (falling tone) in Guangyun, and du-guo (falling tone) in Jiyun. The pronunciation is the same as "duo". It means to shake. Another explanation is the appearance of hanging down. There is a sentence in the Book of Changes (Yijing) "Guan wo tuo yi", which is the version interpreted by Jing Fang. Note: The current version of "Yi Gua" in the Book of Changes (Yijing) is written as "duo". The "tuo" character is listed in Zihui Bu as an ancient form of "duo". Zhengzitong believes that the character "tuo" does not have the meaning of hanging down. In Erya·Shigong, it is said: "Gui is called dian." Guo Pu annotated: in the corner of the hall. Dian is tuo. Note: Dian and tuo also have the meaning of hanging down.
