"Examination: According to Shuowen (Shuowen), it is classified under the radical 'Foot' (zú), which has sixteen strokes. Zhengzitong (Zhengzitong) mistakenly classifies it under 'Foot' (zú), which has fourteen strokes, and this is incorrect. Jiyun (Jiyun) considers 'luán' to be pronounced duan (falling tone) and explains it as a trampled place. 'tuǎn' is pronounced tuǎn (falling tone) and explained as a place trampled by birds and beasts. Separating 'luán' and 'tuǎn' into two characters is also incorrect."
