Pronounced zi lin (rising tone) in Yùpiān and zi lin (rising tone) in Jíyùn, pronounced the same as qìn. It is a type of stone. Also pronounced cai yin (level tone) in Jíyùn, pronounced the same as cén. Refers to a stone gate. Also recorded in Zhèngzìtōng: Southwest of Yumen Pass, there is a country where thousands of shíxí are produced annually in the mountains, called pīlìxí. When spring thunder sounds, the xí decrease, and by autumn, the xí are gone. In Zàngqì·Běncǎo Shíyí, it is written as qíng.
