Jiyun explains it as to ponder and conjecture. Another interpretation is to stand on tiptoe and hope. Some versions write it as "". Also, in Jiyun, pronounced zhí (rising tone) and gé (rising tone), with the same pronunciation as "zhái". Wuyin Jiyun explains it as loyalty and uprightness.
